 As Nielsen’s Associate Director of CRS Operations, Val is responsible for the operational departments involved in the collection and processing of research data.
With 25 years experience in the Market Research industry, Val’s knowledge of the industry, particularly data collection is vast.
Val was instrumental in establishing CATI in NZ and in developing and transitioning to a central CATI call-centre to service Nielsen’s Australian and New Zealand requirements. In addition Val was also a key member of the Nielsen team, which developed mCAPI for Face to Face data collection.
Quality is another area of responsibility, which includes ensuring Nielsen continues to develop and maintain ISO Accreditations.
Val has also been past Vice President of the Market Research Society of New Zealand and the IQS Council, which developed and introduced Interviewing Standards into NZ.
