Rob Clark Appointed to ACNielsen Executive Director, Retailer Services, Pacific & Japan

ACNielsen recently announced the appointment of Rob Clark to the position of Executive Director, Retailer Services, Pacific & Japan, effective from March 1, 2006.   

 

Mr Clark will be responsible for the overall management and business performance of the retailer services in Pacific and Japan and ensure the delivery of high quality marketing information services to the key retailers.  He will also be responsible for driving new business development opportunities, managing strategic global and regional retailer client relationships and the implementation of regional as well as local initiatives.

 

In his new role, Mr Clark will be based in Auckland, New Zealand and will report to Alistair Watts, ACNielsen’s Managing Director, Pacific & Japan.

 

Mr Watts, commenting on the appointment, said “Cooperation with our retailer clients is of strategic importance to ACNielsen.  Continuous enhancement of our retailer services is one key initiative that we are currently focusing on”. 

 

“Rob has the breath of experiences and leadership skills that enable him to drive our retailer services forward.  I am confident that under Rob’s leadership we will further enhance our business partnership with this important client group ”.

 

Mr Clark returns to the Asia Pacific region from his role as Marketing Director, Retail Measurement Services, ACNielsen Emerging Markets, a position he has held since September 2003.  Prior to that, he spent three years in the role of Retailer Services

Director, based in Prague, Czech Republic.  A native to New Zealand, Mr Clark had spent the previous four years in management roles at ACNielsen New Zealand.
